QSAC Hosts Brisbane High School Athletics Championships and Carnivals

Brisbane State High School will stage its Interhouse Athletics Carnival at the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, beginning at 8:30am. The event highlights the central role QSAC plays in supporting track and field activities for government schools in the city.

Cavendish Road State High School has aligned its 2026 district structure with the new Mt Gravatt District for students aged 12 to 19. Schools such as Mansfield State High School and Springfield Central State High School run whole-school athletics carnivals that feed directly into the same district and state structures.

Without reliable access to such venues, the step from school programs to association events would be harder to maintain.
